Business Analyst – Publications, Approvals & Patent Applications


Duration of the assignment, 6 months with extension to 1 year if applicablebr/ Desired start date: 01/06/2026br/ Work regime: full timebr/ br/ h2The assignment /h2 ul liCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to publication processes, approval workflows, and patent application systems /li liStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), including user story writing, backlog management, acceptance criteria definition, and DoD/DOR practices /li liTranslate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Brief and translate to key development partners for build /li liFacilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions to align on requirements and priorities /li liWork closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions /li liSupport project management activities including planning, tracking progress, and managing risks and dependencies /li liDesign and execute test plans, coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure solutions meet business requirements /li liAnalyze and manage data related to publications and patent applications, ensuring data integrity and usability /li liIdentify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutions /li liMaintain documentation including process flows, system diagrams, and requirement specifications /li /ul br/ h2Required knowledge and skills /h2 ul liProven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in environments involving publications, approvals, or intellectual property/patent processes /li liStrong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., user stories, process mapping, requirement documentation) /li liSolid technical acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with development teams /li liExperience with project management principles and tools (Agile/Scrum experience is a plus) /li liStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences /li liPreferred qualifications: ul liExperience with workflow automation tools or document management systems /li liKnowledge of data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) /li liCertification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile methodologies /li /ul /li liKey competencies: ul liAnalytical thinking and problem-solving /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills /li liOrganizational and project management abilities /li liAdaptability and continuous improvement mindset /li liAttention to detail and quality focus /li /ul /li liLocation: An onsite presence of 3 days a week is required.
